Where to watch 4th of July fireworks in Upstate South Carolina

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Whether in Spartanburg or Pickens, Anderson or Greenville, the Upstate has an Independence Day celebration for you!

 

Anderson Co.

Freedom Celebration in Williamston will be held on July 1 from 2 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Mineral Springs Park.

El Arriero at the Shores of Asbury will offer a fireworks displace on July 1 at 9 p.m. as part of their week-long celebration.

Honea Path will hold an Independence day event on July 1 at the Big Red Ballfield from 4-10p.m.

Western Carolina Sailing Club will hold an Independence Day celebration on July 1, starting at 6 p.m.

Anderson County’s festivities kick off with the Fourth of July Celebration on July 2 at Lake Hartwell. Food trucks and live music from the Bennett Brothers will anchor the event before fireworks start at 9 p.m. Food trucks and vendors on-site will include BLVD Concessions, Rad Dad’s BBQ Catering, Mac Attack, Sonny’s Grill on Main Food Truck, Rolito’s Tacos & More, and The Nomadik Few. Jorge Valendzuela will open the live music from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. followed by Rhonda Funk until 5 p.m. and the Bennett Brothers until the firework show.

 

Cherokee Co.

The Cherokee Co. Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Freedom Fest on July 1 at Lake Whelchel.

 

Greenville Co.

Fountain Inn will be holding their Fireworks Spectacular on July 1 beginning at 6 p.m. Main Street will play home to live music, food and beverages, and entertainment such as laser tag and foam parties all before a firework show at dusk.

The Simpsonville Simply Freedom Fest is scheduled for July 2 at 6 p.m. at Heritage Park’s CCNB Amphitheatre. Gates open to food and live music at 5:30.

Greenville’s Hartness Community will hold its annual Hartness Family, Fun & Fireworks Celebration on July 1 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.

Clemson MBA Fireworks on the Fourth will be held on July 4 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Unity Park in Greenville.

Fluor Field and the Greenville Drive will host Military Appreciation Day alongside Independence Day celebrations on July 4. Fans will enjoy a live performance from the Greenville Symphony as vintage WWII warbirds flyover the stadium and more. Tickets are available at the Main Street Box Office or online.

 

Laurens Co. / Greenwood Co. 

Lights on the Lake will be held on July 1 from 5:30-10:30 p.m. at the Camp Fellowship shoreline at Lake Greenwood.

Freedom Fest will be held on July 3 in Historic Laurens Square.

 

Oconee Co. 

The City of Walhalla will hold Independence Fest July 1-4 at Brown Square. The fireworks displace will be on July 3 at 9 p.m.

The City of Seneca will hold its Independence Day Celebration at Gignilliat Field on July 4. Fireworks will begin at dusk.

 

Pickens Co.

Pickens County will be hosting an Independence Day Spectacular on July 1, with Donald Trump’s rally apart of a full day of events. Fireworks will begin at dusk.

The City of Easley will be holding a three-day festival July 2-4. The fireworks displace will take place on July 4 after the last concert, which begins at 7:30 p.m.

 

Spartanburg Co.

The Town of Duncan will hold a will hold a Watermelon Firework Festival & Star Spangled Splash at Shipwreck Cove on July 1 from 7-10 p.m., ending with a fireworks display.

First Baptist North Spartanburg will be hosting Fireworks at First on July 2. Food, sweets and inflatables will open at 7 p.m. before the firework show starts after sunset.

Spartanburg will be holding their annual Red, White, and Boom event on July 4 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Barnet Park. Food, activities and live music courtesy of the Spartanburg Jazz Ensemble and Steel Toe Stiletto will precede a fireworks display.

 

Union Co.

Union County and the Union County Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Light Up the Lake celebration on July 3 at Veterans Memorial Park.

Buffalo Community’s Annual Party At The Pond will be held on July 4 from 6-10 p.m. Fireworks will be at dark.
