This weekend’s Sit. Stay. Dray. features The Abbey Elmore Band on Friday, Sydney McMath on Saturday

Dray Bar and Grill’s in-home concert series continues this weekend with one edition of Sit. Stay. Dray. on Friday night and another on Saturday night.

This week’s Facebook Live event on Friday, April 24, at 7 p.m. features The Abbey Elmore Band. Before social distancing was a thing, the Spartanburg-based band were regular performers at The Dray and FR8yard in Spartanburg, Bleu Voodoo Grill in Easley and many other Upstate venues. The band also travels the country writing and playing its ‘Indie Pop’ style of music.

On Saturday night, April 25, Sit. Stay. Dray will feature Spartanburg musician Sydney McMath during a 7 p.m. livestream concert.

A native of Maryland, McMath has been part of the Upstate music scene for several years. The Spartanburg-based artist is known for her soulful voice and extraordinary piano playing.

Dray Bar and Grill launched Sit. Stay. Dray. to support Upstate singer/songwriters affected by the closure of restaurants, bars and entertainment venues. The in-home concert series is sponsored by Dray Bar and Grill, Your Carolina with Jack & Megan and Livin’ Upstate.

Each week, The Dray features a date night dinner special for pickup, then you can head home to watch the live performance originating from the restaurant.
