Things to Do: 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb on September 12th at Fluor Field
September 11th marks the 25th anniversary of the horrific terrorist attacks on New York City; Washington, DC; and Pennsylvania. On Saturday, September 12th, Fluor Field will be the site of the official 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb where the community is invited to join firefighters and other first responders as they climb the equivalent of 110 flights of stairs in remembrance of those who died in the line of duty on that dreadful day.
This annual event supports the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation that provides funding and other support for families of fallen first responders.
The Greenville 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb ranks 7th in the U.S. for # of climbers and funds raised. We want to continue climbing the ladder and reach this year’s goal for 1,000 climbers and $75,000 raised.

Opening Ceremonies begin at 8:30 a.m.
The stair climb begins at approximately 15 minutes later.
