The Team Visits Wings Etc in Boiling Springs
If you’re like me you can never figure out where to go eat.
Our area has thousands of really good places but when it’s time to make a choice I freeze, or choose the same place every time. So, when someone offers a new place I’m always game. My Your Carolina co-host, Jack Roper, and I were invited to try Wings Etc in Boiling Springs. Boiling Springs is in Spartanburg County and took about 15 minutes to get too from our TV station which is right off Business 85.
When I pulled up the first thing I noticed was there is plenty of parking! And…..outside eating. I love having the option of eating outside.
When you walk inside you notice the sport theme. Former University of South Carolina QB Dylan Thompson, and Boiling Springs native, even brought in three of his bowl game jerseys to hang on the wall.
Next, you’ll notice the expansive menu.
With more than 17 different wings to choose from that’s not all that’s on the menu. (Hence the name Wings ETC)
From nachos to grilled chicken salad and a HUGE “monster” burger Wings Etc really lives up to its name.
Jack and I personally tried the nachos, the burger, the shrimp, the salad, the quesadilla, and of course their wings. (Don’t judge…we had to eat so much. It was all for this story.) I honestly enjoyed everything and would happily recommend to anyone else.
I’m a huge college football fan and love going to watch games. This is a fantastic place to watch a game because they have at least 23 TV’s and each table comes with a speaker box. That means you can tune in to whichever game you care about.
The owners are trying to make it fun, family friendly and super affordable. The day we happened to be there, Monday, was 69 cent wing day. They do that all day long! Tuesday is trivia and on the weekends you’ll be able to hear live music.
If you want to go tell them Megan sent you. Ask for Scott. He’ll be there if he’s not on a softball field.
The address is 2644 Boiling Springs Road.
