We recently had the chance to catch up with Angel at her boutique inside Westside Market—and let’s just say, her story is as inspiring as her clothing collection is colorful.
From Online to Everywhere
Angel got her start in the fashion world by launching her boutique online. From there, she began selling at outdoor markets, eventually finding a small wall space at Westside Market. That wall turned into two booths and a second wall, and now she’s expanded to even more locations, including Market at the Point in Greenville and Sweet Southern Gals in the Gaffney Outlet Mall.
“I started online, then moved to outdoor markets, and eventually found a wall here at Westside,” Angel says. “Now, I’m in multiple locations across the Upstate.”
Bold Prints, Breezy Dresses & Boutique Vibes
Angel Girl Boutique is known for bright, bold prints, plenty of pinks and greens, and, of course, the perfect little black dress. Angel stocks a wide variety of dresses and tops designed to help women look stylish while staying comfortable—especially in the hot South Carolina weather.
“I really focus on dresses,” Angel explains. “They’re easy to throw on, and you still look put-together—especially when it’s hot out. I also carry accessories like sun hats, handbags, earrings, and headbands.”
