Spartanburg Co. Parks starts preps for summer camps

Spartanburg, SC (WSPA TV) – Spartanburg County Parks and Recreation is beginning registration for summer camps for children of all ages.

Outdoor activities are the focus with summer and adventure camp starting in June.

Summer camp welcomes kids ages 5-12 from June 10 to August 9 in four locations across Spartanburg County. Summer camp is about $90 dollars for the month including snacks meals and field trips.

Scholarships are also available and sign up starts the February 15.

Adventure camp welcomes kids for six, one-week sessions June 10 through July 26 on Lake Cooley.

Teens will be rafting, camping, ropes courses and have the option to camp overnight at the lake.

Adventure camp is about $170 per week and is now open for registration at spartanburgparks.org
