Registration now open for first-ever Amazing Upstate Race

If you’re up for a challenge, you won’t want to miss The Amazing Upstate Race to be held Saturday, August 21, in Greenville.
Presented by Upstate International, this first-time event invites 20 teams of four persons each to compete at locations across Greenville including Craft Axe Throwing at Hampton Station, 3’s Golf & Grill on Villa Road and Treetop Quest, Greenville’s aerial adventure zipline park near Westside Park.
The day will begin with an opening ceremony and soccer challenge at the Kroc Center presented by the Greenville Triumph. Teams will then rotate through three additional challenges, with all of them timed. Teams with the best times will compete in a final challenge to be held the AC Plaza at the new Camperdown development in downtown Greenville. The day will end with an international celebration on the plaza.
Proceeds from the Amazing Upstate Race will benefit Upstate International, a Greenville-based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering people and businesses of all nations to thrive in Upstate South Carolina.
“We have wanted to connect with our community in a much broader way for a long time, and The Amazing Upstate Race is a great way to do that,” said Tracie Frese, executive director of Upstate International. “We are building out a day of adventure, puzzles, challenges and more that will not only engage these teams in an exciting event but will support our larger educational initiatives in building a globally engaged Upstate, as well.”
Registration for Amazing Upstate Race teams is now open, with the number of teams limited to 20. More information or to register, go HERE.
