Race for the Cure, Melting Pot Music Festival this weekend

(WSPA) — Fall is here and it’s time to celebrate with pumpkin picking, hay rides, haunted attractions and more.
Denver Downs opens Friday. The family farm in Anderson is a nominee for USA Today’s “10 Best Corn Maze’s in America.” Hours are Friday from 5PM until 10 PM, Saturday’s from 10 AM until 11 PM and Sunday hours are from 1 PM to 10 PM. Their Fall Festival is every weekend until November 4th.
Tickets are $15 but free for kids under 3.
Walk or run for a good cause. Race for the Cure is happening at Flour Field Saturday morning. It’s a fundraising and education event for breast cancer. The doors open at 6 AM, the survivors ceremony is at 7:15 AM and then the race is at 8 AM.
They’ll have a 5K and a 1 mile fun run. Online registration is closed, but you can register at Flour Field Saturday morning.
A free music festival will rock downtown Spartanburg Saturday. The Melting Pot Music Festival is happening from 3 PM until 10 PM around Morgan Square.
They’ll have three stages with live music all day long. A craft beer garden will be set up on Wall Street.
There’s also an arts market, a petting zoo, a kids zone and more. Admission is free.
