Pearson’s Falls and Glen is a remarkable botanical wonderland that lies hidden in the foothills of the great Blue Ridge Mountains.
Only a short 45 to an hour and 5 minute drive from Gvl(65 min.), Sptbg(50), Avl(45) to just off Hwy 176 between Tryon and Saluda, NC.

It is a beautiful time of the year to visit Pearson’s Falls. The falls are full with the recent rains and the wildflowers are bursting with color. Pearson’s Falls, owned by the Tryon Garden Club, is a wonderful nature preserve with a beautiful 90 foot waterfall. There are more than 350 species of wildflowers and plants, a few that are rare.
Pearson’s Falls & Glen Hours:
March 1 – October 31: 7 days a week
10am – 6pm (Gates will close at 5:00 PM).
November – December & February: 7 days a week
10am – 5 pm (Gates will close at 4:00 PM).
Admission
Adults (13 and up): $5.00
Ages 6-12: $1.00
Under 6: Free
The Tryon Garden Club will offer a series of Spring Walks that focus on the wildflowers in the Pearson’s Falls Glen. Admission is $10 plus the Pearson’s Falls admission fee.
