Paul McCartney announces Greenville concert date

GREENVILLE (WSPA) – The legendary Paul McCartney will perform in Greenville next year.

Bon Secours Wellness Arena announced Friday morning the performer – first made famous with The Beatles – will put on a concert on May 30, 2019.

Greenville will be one of the stops for The Freshen Up Tour.

The first tour stop is May 27 at PNC Arena in Raleigh, N.C.

McCartney last appeared in the United States in 2016 and 2017 for his One On One Tour.

Tickets go on sale on at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7 – three days before McCartney’s brand new album Egypt Station will be released by Capitol Records.
