FOUNTAIN INN, S.C. — The Mill in Fountain Inn, the town’s newest entertainment venue, promises a mix of history and modern fun. Bryan Beal, one of the people behind the project, shared the details in a recent interview with Living Upstate Host Jamarcus Gaston.

“We took what used to be an old flour mill and gave it new life,” Beal said. “Now, it’s a brewery and pizza restaurant, and we’ll be adding a food hall in the fall.”

The Mill is designed to be a place for families and friends to gather. It features a large green space for kids to play and a big screen for movie nights. Beal emphasized that they wanted to create a destination for the rapidly growing community.

“Fountain Inn needed something like this,” he said. “We set out three years ago to create a place where people can come together, enjoy good food and drinks, and have fun.”

Currently, The Mill offers a variety of pizzas, salads, and appetizers. On weekends, local food trucks provide additional options. The brewery, part of the venue, adds to the variety of drinks available.

“We’re excited to be part of the Fourth of July celebrations here,” Beal said. “We’ll be open and ready to welcome everyone, with a great view of the fireworks right behind us.”

Beal also mentioned that as new features are added, updates will be shared on social media.

“People can follow us at @TheMillAtFountainInn to stay informed about the latest additions and events,” he said.

The Mill’s transformation from a rundown mill to a lively community spot highlights the town’s effort to preserve its history while creating new opportunities for residents.

“It’s a full-circle moment,” Beal said. “We’ve kept the historical elements and brought in new purposes. We couldn’t be prouder of our team and what we’ve accomplished here.”

The Mill at Fountain Inn is located downtown and aims to become the go-to place for locals looking to enjoy a day out without leaving their town.
