New Habitat for Humanity ReStore at 1659 Woodruff Road set for Grand Opening Weekend July 19th-21st

GREENVILLE, SC, July 10, 2018– Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County is pleased to invite the community to the Grand Opening weekend of its new ReStore location, 1659 Woodruff Road, on July 19th-21stfrom 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. This three-day span of events will include daily prize giveaways, a Donor Appreciation Day, and 99.5 Jack FM Radio broadcasting on site.

The new Woodruff Road location is the relocation of the Simpsonville ReStore, formerly located at 10017 Pelham Point in Simpsonville. Habitat Greenville is excited about the new store and hopes that a more central location will allow the ReStore to better suit the needs of their donors, shoppers and volunteers. The public is invited to commemorate with a ribbon cutting at 9:30 am on Thursday, July 19th. Donor Appreciation Day will be Friday, July 20th, with recent donors receiving an additional percentage off their purchases.  99.5 Jack FM Radio will be broadcasting on site Saturday, July 21st.

 

According to Mark Steenback, Director of ReStore Operations, “Habitat Greenville is proud to add the new Woodruff Road location and expand the reach of the ReStores while maintaining the same great quality of new and used goods that our customers have come to love and expect from our stores. Our grand opening weekend is a fun and exciting time for the community to explore the mission of Habitat and be a part of empowering local families with strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable homeownership.”

Funds generated through the ReStore’s sale of new and lightly used donations support Habitat’s Greenville’s mission of creating affordable homeownership opportunities for families in need in Greenville County. The ReStore accepts donations of appliances, furniture, household goods, and construction supplies. The new location will be open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. The Woodruff Road ReStore joins the existing Taylors ReStore at 3033 Wade Hampton Boulevard as the two locations owned and operated by Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County.
