Turning screen time into brain time with a playful new app called Musical Chess.

Living Upstate is joined by Founder & CEO of Musical Chess – a new edutainment platform turning screen time into brain time.

Musical Chess combines music, movement and play to introduce kids to the game of chess in a joyful, whole-child way.

And right now, they’re prepping for their next move: launching a Kickstarter campaign and children’s learning app that aims to offer families a thoughtful alternative to passive screen time.
