Market on Main opens in downtown Spartanburg

There is a new retail spot on the downtown Spartanburg block and it is pretty spectacular! Market on Main, located at 156 E. Main Street is a one-stop shop for all things local, artisan, handmade and unique.

Grab a coffee from down the street and get ready to spend some time browsing the cool home decor selections, artist creations, handmade body products, men’s products , and so much more.

Market on Main features the products of 20 upstate vendors.  Owners Aimee Cheek and Lisa Giaimo  not only wanted the store to be a place for you to  pick up a one-of-a-kind gift, they want it to be a place for you to get inspired for your next DIY project.  The staff at Market on Main will help you turn your Chip and Joanna Gaines ideas into reality. There is even a back room with a wall of Dixie Belle paint and space for you to get your DIY on. There will be classes happening at the space in the future, so keep an eye out for those updates.

Let’s take a tour to see some of the pieces that are available at Market on Main. If you are looking for a gift for the foodie in your life, Ballew Woodworks has some beautiful cutting boards and pepper grinders.

If you are like me and enjoy handmade body products, Market on Main has great offerings of bath bombs, lotions, and soaps. I loved these products from Sandcastle Soaps,  made right in Spartanburg.

Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are just around the corner and you could get all of your shopping done in the one place! Feast your eyes on these gift ideas for the mamas and the papas.

Guys are notoriously difficult to buy for, but Market on Main has some solid items that will make any guy happy.

Market on Main is opening Monday-Saturday, 10am-6pm and Sunday 1:00pm-4:00pm. The store will also extend hours during downtown Spartanburg special events.
