Ingles hiring temporary COVID-19 vaccine administrators, registering consumers for vaccine
Ingles Markets is hiring temporary COVID-19 Vaccine Administrators and support roles at its pharmacies across the Southeast.
“Vaccinating our communities against COVID is going to be one of the most important things we do in 2021,” the company said in its recruitment ad.
Jobs listed on the company’s website include those for COVID-19 Vaccine Administrator, COVID-19 Vaccine Support, Staff Pharmacist and Pharmacist Floater.

COVID-19 vaccines will be available at Ingles stores by appointment only. Consumers can register online for the vaccine and they will be contacted to schedule an appointment once vaccines become available according to individual state guidance. Vaccines have not yet been distributed to Ingles pharmacies in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee, according to the Ingles website.
Consumers can prepare for their vaccine appointment by doing the following:
- Bring your completed vaccine consent form
- Arrive to your appointment 15 minutes early for processing
- Bring your pharmacy insurance card and a valid driver’s license
- Wear your mask and a short sleeve shirt
- Plan to remain in the pharmacy area 15 minutes after your vaccination
