Ingles announces new store hours

As of Monday, March 16, all Ingles grocery stores will close at 10:00 p.m., with 24-hour stores reopening at 6:00 a.m. All other stores will reopen at normal time. Our Starbucks locations will open at normal time but will close at 8:00 p.m., one hour early. These hours will remain in place until further notice. Our stores will use the additional time for added cleaning, sanitation, and better restocking to improve our store conditions.

Guidance to Our Customers Regarding COVID-19

To Our Valued Customers,

Over the last several days, many of you have been shopping in our stores and stocking up on the essentials to keep your families healthy and safe. We appreciate your business and want you to know that you and your family’s health is our priority, too.

We have always maintained a high level of cleanliness in our stores, and we know it is more important than ever right now. In addition to our normal cleaning procedures, we are ensuring an even more rigorous cleaning routine throughout our company. We have ramped up our cleaning schedules on surfaces like checkout and U-SCAN lanes, touchpads, and shopping carts, to name a few. We are following the latest guidance from the CDC, which recommends regular cleaning as one of the most important preventive measures we can take.

We are limiting sampling at this time; however, if there is a product you would like to sample, please ask an associate.

In addition to taking care of our customers, we are also committed to ensuring our associates are safe. We depend on our associates, as they are what makes our company great. At this time, we have asked our associates to avoid shaking hands, reinforced good hygiene, like 20 second hand washing and covering sneezes, and we are reminding our associates who are sick to stay home and get well.

Our associates are working hard to make sure that the products you want are available. As demand remains high for certain products (like cleaning products, medicine, toilet paper, etc.) we are sending products to our stores as quickly as possible. To support all customers, there may be quantity limits placed on some products.

We are committed to keeping our customers and associates healthy and safe.

We will continue to monitor this situation, follow the recommended guidance from the CDC and do all we can to protect our customers and associates.
