Inaugural Greer Arts & Eats Festival coming in October

Greer Arts & Eats Festival, a new event produced by the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce, is coming to downtown Greer on Friday and Saturday, October 1 and 2.
Presented by Pelham Medical Center, Greer Arts & Eats Festival will be held throughout downtown Greer and Greer City Park, featuring art and crafts from local artisans, interactive children’s activities, live demonstrations and health screenings. The event is free to attend.
The inaugural festival incorporates the new downtown Greer landscape with a revitalized Trade Street serving as home to Artists Alley. This area of the festival will be devoted to arts and craft vendors as well as demonstrations for festival attendees. The family-friendly Creation Station will be held on Saturday, October 2, from 1 pm – 4 pm.
“We, as the Chamber Board and staff, are thrilled to announce our inaugural event for 2021, Greer Arts & Eats Festival,” said David Merhib, President & CEO, Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce. “The event will focus on arts, music and food, incorporating the changes to downtown Greer and to our growing, diverse community.”
Attendees can enjoy unique bites and brews from participating food vendors and craft beer stations, including Greer’s newest craft brewery, the Southern Growl.
Music lovers will enjoy regional bands focusing on Americana, Folk, Country and Bluegrass genres on the main stage in Greer City Park. Featured performers are The Steel Wheels (Harrisburg, VA), Jon Stickley Trio (Asheville, NC), Crawford & Power (Franklin County, VA), The Arcadian Wild (Nashville, TN), Amongst the Trees (Clemson, SC), Vilai Harrington & The Hamptones (Greenville, SC), and The Scatterlings (Asheville, NC).
