Cheers! Trail offers 17 different tasting experiences in and around Hendersonville

If a spot that offers plenty of space, often outdoors, and a great glass of beer, wine or cider sounds good in the age of social distancing, check out Hendersonville’s Cheers! Trail.
With the Blue Ridge Mountains as a backdrop, the Cheers! Trail showcases four types of craft beverages and a selection of 17 different tasting experiences that include nine breweries, three wineries, two cideries and one meadery, as well as off-site winery tasting rooms in Flat Rock and Chimney Rock.
To enhance the trail experience, the Henderson County Tourism Development Authority (TDA) has produced the Cheers! Trail Passport for visitors to use as a road map for the trail.
Consumers can purchase the $10 passport at the Hendersonville Visitors Center at 201 S. Main Street or at any participating venue. Those who visit at least 12 venues and have their passports “stamped” at each one can bring the passport to the visitor center and redeem it for a gift. Consumers can choose from a set of 4 stone coasters, wine stopper, stainless steel wine glass or a waiter’s bottle opening tool.
The Cheers! Trail Passport is one way the Henderson County TDA is seeking to support local businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Henderson County Tourism Director Beth Carden.
“Hendersonville’s Cheers! Trail is the only trail in North Carolina showcasing four different types of craft beverages,” Carden said. “Another plus is its location – the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in and around Hendersonville.”
Most Cheers! Trail venues offer online ordering or to-go options for beverages and merchandise. Some locations host food trucks on specific dates. Check individual venue websites for details.
