Greer, Greenville holding virtual Touch-A-Truck events this week

The cities of Greer and Greenville will hold virtual Touch-A-Truck events this week showcasing the cool trucks in their fleets.
Participants can tune in for the virtual event hosted by the Greer Commission of Public Works on Thursday, April 9, at 2:30 p.m. The online, interactive educational session will teach about vehicles in the Greer fleet and attendees will be able to ask questions. Greer CPW is planning more virtual events to highlight various departments. The tentative schedule is:
- April 9th – Communications Department
- April 17th – Electric Department
- April 23rd – Utility Locators
- May 1st – Sewer Department
- May 7th – Gas Department

Participants can tune in for the Greenville event on Friday, April 10, at 10 a.m. to check out some Public Works vehicles like dump trucks, garbage trucks and “the claw!” See what they can do, learn what it’s like to operate them and ask questions during this virtual Touch-a-Truck event.
