Fletcher Firefly Festival, plane pull happening this weekend
(WSPA) — The third annual Fletcher Firefly Festival is on Saturday at Blue Ghost Brewing Company. The day marks the release of three popular summer seasonal beers. They’ll have artists and local vendors set up from 1PM until 6PM. They’ll have food vendors with options like pizza, barbecue and ice cream. Make sure to bring a blanket or chair to enjoy the live music. Kids can attend too. They’ll have a bounce house, crafts and activities.
Watch people try to haul a plane on Saturday for the 2018 Red Shoe Society Plane Pull. It’s happening at the Greenville Downtown Airport. Teams of four will compete to pull an airplane down the runway. It’s a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House of Greenville. Everyone is welcome and admission is free. They’ll have a DJ, drinks for purchase and you can get food at the cafe. They’ll take cash, cards or check donations, you can also donate online.
Get your Sunday Funday on at the Community Tap. It’s from 2PM until 5PM on Sunday. They’ll be showing soccer games and they’ll have tacos to go with the beer. Automatic Taco will be pulled up with their food truck. The Community Tap is over on Wade Hampton Blvd in Greenville.
