Enter the Carolina Eats March Hoops Recipe Sweepstakes
From home cooking to farm-to table cuisine, the Upstate is a place for foodies. Neighborhood potlucks, book clubs, tailgating and Super Bowl parties all are opportunities for recipe sharing and taste testing.
In 2020, WSPA, Livin’ Upstate and Ingles will give you an opportunity to share your best recipes in our quarterly Carolina Eats Recipe Sweepstakes presented by Ingles, with a chance to win some great prizes and appear on TV. Each quarterly contest will have a different theme as we go in search of some of the Upstate’s most delectable seasonal dishes.
To kick off the contests, we’re looking for recipes that will be a slam-dunk at any March Hoops watch party. Submit your recipe and a photo of the finished dish for a chance to win a $250 Ingles gift card and a Big Green Egg from Bob Burnett’s Appliance & Bedding Center.
Here’s how it works
Submit your March Hoops recipe online before 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 20. A photo of the finished dish must accompany the recipe.
Five finalists will be selected at random and announced on Monday, February 24, on WSPA and Livin’ Upstate social media channels. Finalists will be contacted by telephone and email.
At the end of February, the five finalists will come together to prepare their recipes during a taped television segment. Ingles chefs will be on hand to offer cooking tips and tricks, along with some March Hoops recipe ideas of their own.
In early March, the five finalists will appear live on WSPA with the grand prize winner named in a random drawing. All finalists will receive a $250 Ingles gift card and the grand prize winner will receive a Big Green Egg prize package from Bob Burnett’s Appliance & Bedding Center. The grand prize includes a Big Green Egg Model # 117649, Big Green Egg Acadia Wood Table, Model # 118624 and Big Green Egg Table Nest, Model # 113328. The approximate retail value of the Big Green Egg prize package is $1,800.
