Dirty Dancing Festival this weekend in Lake Lure

(WSPA) — Have the time of your life at the Dirty Dancing Festival at Lake Lure. Check it out Friday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., or Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
They’ll have live bands, dance lessons and of course the iconic lake lift competition. There will be a showing of the film Friday night. You can buy tickets online or at the event. Admission is $30 for adults and $15 for kids.

Spitoono is happening in Pickens. The music festival began Thursday and continues Friday night from 6 p.m. to midnight and Saturday from 4 p.m. until 2 a.m. They have a lineup of over 15 bands. Admission is free, but bring some money if you want beer or a t shirt.
Proceeds from sales go to local charities, like Helping Hands of Clemson and Meals on Wheels of Pickens.

Parents can find some deals at Switch-A-Roos. It’s one of the largest children’s consignment events and starts Friday at Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium. The event continues through Sunday.
