Sandi Veazey said kids love s’more the French toast way! She shared this recipe during our Carolina Eats Kid-Friendly Recipes contest.
4 slices of your favorite bread (she recommended Texas toast)
4 crushed graham crackers
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 tablespoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons marshmallow fluff
2 tablespoons melted chocolate or Nutella
1 cup milk or half and half
mini chocolate chips
In a bowl, mix together the cinnamon, vanilla, eggs, and milk to make the wash.
Melt butter in skillet.
Dip bread in wash and press each side into crushed graham crackers.
Place 2 slices of coated bread in skillet. Brown on one side then flip to brown the other side.
Remove from skillet. Spread chocolate or Nutella on one slice and marshmallow fluff on other slice. Press the slices of bread together to make a sandwich.
Top with toasted mini marshmallows and mini chocolate chips. Drizzle chocolate across the top of the sandwich.
