Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices C. Dan Joyner, REALTORS to hold multi-location blood drive on July 29
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices C. Dan Joyner, REALTORS® and The Blood Connection are teaming up for a multi-location blood drive across the Upstate on Wednesday, July 29.
Upstate residents can donate blood from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at nine Berkshire Hathaway offices including Augusta Road, North Pleasantburg Drive, Pelham Road and C. Dan Joyner Commercial on Buist Avenue in Greenville, as well as the company’s offices in Anderson, Five Forks, Greer, Simpsonville and Spartanburg.
The multi-location blood drive was organized, in part, as a tribute to Fritzi Barbour, Broker in Charge of Berkshire Hathaway’s flagship office, who died from ovarian cancer on July 7, according to Shannon Reilly, Berkshire Hathaway Director of Corporate & Community Relations.
Barbour was named Broker in Charge at C. Dan Joyner in 2013, with her most recent position being senior vice president of sales. During her real estate career, Barbour was President of the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors and the South Carolina Association of Realtors. She was named SC Realtor of the Year in 2018.
“Fritzi was a beloved member of the Berkshire Hathaway team and extremely active in the Upstate community,” Reilly said. “We hope this is a meaningful way of giving back to the community she loved so much.”
Those giving blood will receive a $10 VISA gift card and $10 will be donated to the American Cancer Society. All donors will be tested for COVID-19 antibodies.
Donors who plan to participate in the mobile drive are asked to make an appointment at the desired location. Click here to review locations and available times.
