Alpacas open house among Small Business Saturday events across the Upstate

This Saturday is Small Business Saturday, a day dedicated to supporting small, locally owned businesses.

This year, more than ever, communities are coming together to support local restaurants and retailers affected by the coronavirus pandemic. Many Upstate cities and towns are hosting Small Business Saturday events along their Main Streets, and here are a few new and unique happenings to celebrate the day.

On Again Off Again Farm Holiday Market & Open House

Our friends at OnAgain OffAgain Farm in Spartanburg are celebrating Small Business Saturday outside with the alpacas. See the farm’s new cria (babies), take lots of pictures, pet an alpaca, color a picture and look on as local artisans card and spin fiber into yarn, knit, crochet and weave.

Visitors can shop for gifts made with fiber from the farm’s award-winning alpacas, including alpaca socks, felt shoe/boot inserts, dryer balls round and oval throw rugs and felted soap – a soap and washcloth all in one. Masks and social distancing are requested.

Address: 262 Hollis Dive, Spartanburg, SC 29307
Hours: 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
